All students also attend one three-day summer residency for plant visits. Full-time students make two Friday-Sunday campus visits per semester part-time students make one campus visit. The MMM program is delivered primarily online. The latter option appeals to college students about to graduate from programs in business, science, or engineering who are looking for a one-year master's degree program. ![]() This 32-credit program can be pursued on a part-time basis that is ideal for working professionals, or as a full-time program that can be completed in one year. Among our capabilities are machining (CNC and manual), 3D printing, welding, metrology, sewing and embroidery, laser cutting, dye sublimation printing, and so much more! The LF team quickly created a prototype to open soup bags and funnel ingredients into soup kits. HVS then participated in a second Learning Factory project which built upon the success of the soup kits. The Learning Factory program helped connect the real world and the classroom by providing senior engineering students with hands-on practical experience working on industry-sponsored and client-based capstone design projects.
